Corvette and Indy 500 fans can build a realistic re-creation of the 2026 Corvette ZR1X Pace Car. The hybrid hypercar has a 186 hp electric motor on the front axle. It also features a hand-assembled 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-8. Combined, the car delivers 1,250 hp and 828 foot-pounds of torque at 6,000 rpm.

Fans watching the Indy 500 will see the Corvette Pace Car in its slashing red, white, and blue livery. The graphics are a tribute to America’s 250th birthday celebration on July 4.

While that same paint scheme isn’t available to consumers, the powertrain package remains identical.

2026 Corvette ZR1

Corvette enthusiasts can save around $25,000 by opting for the non-hybrid, rear-wheel-drive ZR1. The convertible body style starts at $208,495, including a $2,495 freight charge and $3,000 gas-guzzler tax. The coupe starts at $198,495, freight and GGT included.

The eight cylinders produce 1,064 hp and 828 foot-pounds of torque at 6,000 rpm. Top track speed is 233 mph. Acceleration from 0-60 is 2.3 seconds with the ZTK Performance Package ($1,500). By comparison, the ZR1X does 0-60 in 1.89 seconds.
