I am working with an estate to sell a 2016 Ferrari California Turbo with retractable hardtop and 2+2 seating. With 13,834 miles, this California T is in pristine condition and has been dealer-serviced throughout.

The car appears new, a strong No. 2 in the show category. There are no wheel scrapes, door dings, or environmental damage. This car has never been wrecked and has always been garaged, with a soft, fitted Ferrari cover (red, of course). A complete CarFax Report is available.

The engine starts cleanly with no smoke or abnormal valvetrain noise. Both rear Pirelli P Zero tires were replaced at 11,544 miles by the San Diego Ferrari dealership. The optional Ferrari Sport exhaust has a robust report.

Professional detailing was just completed inside and out by PC Auto Detailing of Ramona, CA.

The car is currently registered and has passed smog certification with the California DMV.

This Ferrari California T was delivered new on Oct. 27, 2015.

John Brown, of Oceanside, Calif., purchased the car on May 19, 2020, from Boardwalk Ferrari, now Ferrari Dallas, in Plano, Texas.

When purchased, the price of $139,140 included the Ferrari Approved Certified Pre-Owned doc for $4,140. Price with taxes and fees: $152,422.58

Other added accessories and features include from available paperwork: $50,375.52

Brown upgraded to an audio system from the Italian manufacturer Mosconi and a front radar-laser speed-detection and jamming system.

Final cost in 2020 for John Brown: $202,798.10, including accessories and installations, DMV registration, dealer service, taxes, etc.

The 2016 Ferrari California T (the “T” stands for Turbo) represented a significant shift for Ferrari, as it was one of the first modern models to return to turbocharging to increase power while meeting stricter emissions standards.

Produced for the 2015 through 2017 model years, it was first unveiled online in February 2014 and made its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.

The 2+2 grand-tourer had the major V-8 engine update of the original California. Ferrari V-8 engine. Ferrari updated the naturally aspirated 453-hp, 4.3-liter V-8 to the current 553-hp, 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V-8. Engine torque increased from 358 foot-pounds of torque to 557 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,750 rpm.

Compared to the original naturally aspirated California, the “T” model offers a sharper design inspired by the F12 Berlinetta.

California T production ran until 2017, when it was succeeded by the Ferrari Portofino.
